Default Long nose crank pulley on VVT motor

Can I reuse my long nose crank pulley on my vvt motor that I am installing in my 91? I want to reuse my 1.6L v-belt alternator instead of buying a new 94-97 alternator.

Thanks,
-Raj

Does the 1.6 alternator fit on the 1.8 block? I know that on the 1.6 you use a long bolt with a nut on the end to hold on the alternator and on the 1.8 it is just a long bolt that threads into the bracket.

Also just make sure for the pulley boss you are using a 96+ one because it is slightly thinner to fit the 4 tooth timing plate.

Thanks Lars. I will buy a 96-97 alternator.
