got it out this morning. my plan was to redo the oil pan gasket and rear main seal but i found a new leak that looks like the cam shaft seal? looks like im leaking from my dipstick .. i also took some pics of my ebay turbo turbine and compressor. im guessing 40k miles (10psi) since my install..

my engine is filthy btw...

this is what i never noticed was leaking.. How hard or easy is it to replace that seal on the cam? ( if that's even it )








this was a minimal leak probably because it was a pita to get that t screwed in with the sender..

I suggest investing in a half dozen cans of brake cleaner. The highly pressurized stuff will clean that engine to shiny new status.

 

i was going to try degreaser but that sounds like it will work better.

 

If it makes you feel any better you're motor is cleaner than mine
