Default Are stock 1.8 miatas injected sequentially or batch fire.

I was making the harness for my e-manage ultimate for my 96 and while I was looking at the wiring diagrams I noticed that the 94-97 wiring diagrams all show individual wires going from the ECU to each fuel injector. In contrast all of the earlier wiring diagrams show two wires coming from the ECU that split to fire two injectors each.
Most of the stuff that I've looked at online indicates that the miatas have batch fire fuel injection setups which is obvious for the wiring diagrams from the 1.6 engine cars. how ever the 93 cali ecu was set up for sequential fuel injection and the change in the wiring diagrams for the 94-97 makes me think that the 1.8s are sequential as well. I haven't seen any discussion of this and was hoping that some one on here would know so that I can get to finishing the harness with a little more confidence.
