Circuit of the Americas
I was fortunate to be able to drive COTA last weekend with The Drivers Edge. I took some decent video, as well:
Needless to say, it is an amazing facility and a ridiculously nice track, perhaps literally the nicest in the world.

I was really talking about the track surface. I'm actually not sure the SSG would have done much on this one, it is so perfect. I said this in another post somewhere, but I felt like I had insane car control at this track, and I think that is because the suspension is literally doing nothing but what I asked it to do; there are no imperfections to deal with at all.
I am hoping that SSG will make other tracks feel that good. It seems like that is what people have described. That would be amazing.

I'm not going to say that the driver of that car sucked. He may have had completely different goals than I had. He may have been having car problems. I have no idea. He let me by as soon as he could, that's all I care about.

I was curious, becausethis is not the first vid I have seen with stock power Miatas getting held up quite badly by Vetts and Boss 302s.
And that one is a 1.6.
I'm excited to get to the track and shame some Z06s myself.

Sure, you can watch plenty of my videos (and plenty of others, I'm sure) and see me passing "faster cars". I'm a better than average driver, and ultimately that makes a huge difference in how quickly a car makes it around the track.
