Default Cam Cap Orientation

Just got done doing my valve guide seals.

I made sure to organize the cam caps as to which one goes where, but I forgot to mark what was the front and the backside of the cap .

The arrows on the cam caps should face towards the front of the engine right?

I made this same mistake once, and I figured it out, but I cannot recall the orientation for the life of me...

The orientation is the same way the machine punched numbers are. So look at the cam seal front cap cos it can only go on one way unless you are retarded. Look at the machine stamped letter and number (I1, intake, number 1) and follow those stamps, seeing as they are stamped last, if you go on the cast in letters you will be wrong.

dry fit them and you will either get a circle or something like this:

run your finger around the interior edge to verify there is no lip.

The punched numbers need to have the same orientation.
