Question what brand forged rods work with stock 1.8 pistons?

I been doing some reading and have seen people build motors with forged rods and stock pistons. They say it good for 300whp and the rods can handle more tq then stock. Every where i look its says that i must use forged pistons because of the wrist pins or something of that sort. What rods have people here used with stock piston. The pistons i have are from a 95 so they should be 8.8 to 1 ratio right? Thanks for any help.

I don't know of a forged piston that doesn't use the OEM 20mm wrist pin diameter. You can use any brand of forged rod that's designed for the B6/BP.

Thanks savington. The reason i posted the question is because of the wording on this ebay

Manley 1990 2005 Mazda Miata 1 6L 1 8L DOHC BP B6 Forged H Beam Connecting Rods | eBay

If you think they are full of crap ill order some rods and have the builder install them.

Why not save some money AND buy from a forum vendor?

Found your problem.
The chances of an Ebay vendor posting accurate and correct data are slim to none.

Maybe you should order them from a shop that actually knows what they're talking about (i.e. me or really anyone else other than eBay vendors).

I have the same rods in stock for $360+tax/ship.

I was going to list you, but I didn't see rods on the TSE site. I see pistons, valve springs, harmonic damper, but no rods. Bug?
