Windy City Miata Club has been invited to an open house and dyno day at Underground Autosports in Hoffman Estates IL.

It is meant for WCMC members but if you are in the Chicagoland area it's a good idea to be a member of WCMC especially if you autocross. If nothing else, join the club facebook group. It's open to non members and you can hear about local Miata related events. I confirmed with one of the owners that non-wcmc members won't be turned away either way, especially if you have a Miata.

Underground Autosports is offering three dyno pulls for $75. I will either put my car on the dyno myself that day or another day soon. They will also be providing burgers, soda, and water free of charge. They need to know how many are coming though so if you want to go contact them on facebook and/or join the event on facebook.

****, I really don't want to make a couple of pulls with an iffy clutch 200 miles from home, but DAMMIT that's convenient.

 

If you want to do the pulls, make sure to call them to make sure you are on the list. I don't know how many have signed up and how long each should take.

 

Any word from the guys at ill-garage? I know we were planning on scheduling another dyno-day like the one we had last fall.

 

No word that I have heard. I wasn't the one that set that up, and I am not the one setting this one up either. I am just passing it on.
