It really helps to see what an item was sold for. This helps potential buyers.
As a seller I can see that if say the day you posted an item you said no to a $500 offer. Then as the weeks turned into a month you said oh well and sold it to another guy for $450 because you got desperate that this would create some friction. As the seller you have every right to do this but its a bit of a concern.
I guess it bugs me when I see an item sold and I'm like "how much do those sell for anyways - oh look the price is now gone" and I'm to lazy to PM the seller.
Any one else find this to be an issue ?

Yeah I make it a point to leave my prices for just this reason and write SOLD next to them. It does result in getting 3-4 PMs asking about your R-Packed spoiler months after you sold it, but meh.
I just remove the price for that very reason. I hate thinking I'm getting a message about a potential sale and then I just get to respond with "Sorry it sold" If someone wants to know what I sold something for, I'll gladly tell them. Curly and I have messaged back and forth a few times on item pricing.
