I think I may get this.

Just watched some guy on youtube make his own mx5 na build, then added a twin turbo setup in another video (fail). I feel compelled to do my own.

Sandbox game tinkering ftw.

 

I'm waiting for a sale, 20 bucks and i get it, 30 meh

 

I grabbed this yesterday and will be playing it tonight.

Ill report back on how it goes.

 

If you could drive the car it would be nice. currently you cant.

 

Driving the vehicle would be awesome.

Built 'close enough' to a stock msm motor w/ turbo in terms of hp/tq on my first go around. I will be perfecting it soon.

 

How are you liking the game? worth the 30 bucks?

 

So far, I can definitely say it should be worth $20 in it's current state, not $30.

If you're into the nitty gritty of building up your own motor to certain specs in a sandbox tester then this game is for you? lol

All you do after it's complete, you can 'test' your build and it'll give you hp/tq dyno, economy & boost response. My attempted build was with a gt2560r (garrett pdf) + bp4w motor (msm pdf). No vvt, no vvl.

 

Still playing this off/on.

Even more entertaining now that I'm doing my build on my bp4w.

Was playing with turbo options and was surprised by how much of a difference it makes with the right setup. Definitely was surprised with A/R ratio of housings & psi settings. Maxing stuff out before the motor can't handle anymore.

 

how far has it come? I got in on this when it was like a dream and some screen shots. And a few months later came the n/a only engine builder alpha. My interest waned after the the turbos came in, and I tried it again when the chassis part came out.

 

Hard to say on how far it has come. Me playing now, the sandbox seems decent. Inline 4,6,8 configs, turbos etc.

Still worth $20 Imo, but it looks promising.
