Default Eibach EVS Valve Springs

Anyone got feedback from using Eibach EVS valve springs on their miata/mx5?

I was chatting to someone who recommended them for an upcoming build, but there doesn't seem to be much info on here about them.

It's worth mentioning he specifically recommended against going down the supertech route as he doesn't like the Ti retainers.

Aren't the eibachs for 94-97 heads? Every site I saw them on just said "compatible with the 1.8L miatas" and what little information I could find pointed away from 99+ heads. Eibach is probably aware that the intake side changed after 97, but summit might not be.

It was a while ago. If I recall correctly something about the durability of Ti in anything less than a race motor with a teardown program (?).
