Finally a arena fps style game I can be excited about.

From watching the video it seems to be very similar to UT2K4 (Vehicles & Gameplay).

This is really exciting since Unreal Champions is going to be hero based with a skill ceiling. Many, many people lost their **** after that announcement (including myself).

Toxixk looks like it has nice Quake like antics but it looks slow and who needs highly realised Bladerunneresque street environments to frag in?

I guess as people get better at the maps it would get faster.

*Yes I realise this means that I would be playing against a handful of people hardly ever, if I was still able to play.

The videos posted in the thread actually are outdated compared to the current update. They reworked the movement recently, and if you're able to move swiftly... tight spaces can get pretty cramp in a good way

 

Almost at v1.0 - 0.97 build was just released.
