Hey guys, just got picked up a mspnp1 with iat sensor, downloaded megatune and tunerstudio. Got everything wired up correctly, car started alright but dies out after just a few seconds. When I was running an FMU the stock ecu did this when I didnt have the Maf on the turbo, once it was able to read the air it ran fine. Not sure what is wrong or how to fix this, I tried both base maps with afm on and off and it didnt change anything. Literally starts at about 9-10 afr and after a few seconds creeps down to nothing and dies...what am I missing?

 

Forgot to give more details, car is a 1992 1.6 manual with sr20 turbo

 

Can you post a data log of an attempted start and a copy of your MSQ?

 

Thanks Matt, I am trying to datalog it, for some reason the datalog doesn't come up with anything when I try to replay it. I'm used to HPtuners so learning megasquirt is fun.. ill update when I have a log, thanks!

 

Here is what I got, apparently my megalogviewer was old as **** like my megasquirt lol anyhow trying to work with it, let me know what you guys see if anything. I tried swapping around afr from wideband back to narrow and it didnt change anything still dying like it was..

 

I will also need a copy of the MSQ.
