There is a NASA HPDE/TT/Comp license eval/road racing event on 1/7-1/8 at Sebring International Raceway.

I'll be there working grid for this event, but thought I'd reach out to the community for interest in grabbing dinner and drinks at the trackside hotel caled Chateau Elan. Respond if you're planning on attending so we can have a list of how many to expect.

 

I'm going to try to get well and get my car together for this. No promises, just aspirations.

Thanks, but not yet. I should be able to do it myself if I regain my normal balance and coordination. If I don't get better I won't be able to drive with the vertigo anyway. If I do start working on it I'll let you know in case you are interested in meeting and hanging out. I'm so frustrated wanting to be able to do things myself right now.

 

I have a customer who is waiting for a turbo setup down in Sebring. Maybe I should get it done before this event and come down to deliver it to him, then stop by and say hi to you guys.

 

Might even be able to pick up your lights at the same time. Sounds like you're committed now.

 

Yep I would try to schedule that in also.

I am also planning on being down in that area of Florida in March for some concerts and then in April for MiataPalooza. So sometime in 2017 I will get those lights. I do really want them.

I'll have to fix my car and stumble down there whether I'm ready for it or not.

And Lars, I still have a giant turbo from a 19 liter engine to give you to make coffee table art :-P

 

This reminded me that I also have rods and pistols for him. I should break down the MSM motor too so I can bring him those 3 as well.

I'll be there Saturday also. I'm not sure yet if I'll be in the Miata or truck because the car hasn't been proven leak free and hasn't yet been re-tuned.
