Default Cheap and Easy 1volt signal for TPS 02 Logging

If you have tried to use the TPS signal to monitor your 02 signal, you know that emanage just asks for a 0% Throttle and a 100% throttle. A stock o2 sensor sends out voltage from about .1v (when warm) to 1v.

So the bottom signal is easy to get, just use the o2 signal from the car's o2 sensor when it is cold, not running for the 0% signal.

For the 100% 1volt signal I used the following and hopefully it will help someone else.

Get a 1.55 volt watch battery. Solder two wires to it. One to the positive side, one to the negative side. On the positive side solder in line TWO diodes (I dont think it matters what the specs of the diode are, but the direction of the diode is important...band on diode away from battery). Check with a Multimeter. On my setup it yielded a 1.01v signal. It is a $4 1v signal, cheap bastard style.

When setting the parameters, I stuck the negative wire in with the emanage negative wire to ground it out and the positive goes to the emanage TPS wire.

Real nice and simple solution. Thanks. Maybe WR or Philip can drop it in the archives.
