I purchased these for years and the cost was pretty reasonable, $20 or $25. Now they cost $50 so I want to try an alternative. any suggestions on a source and or alternative product? Ap Racing has them but they do not seem to be well stocked.

There are several other brands with their logos on similar strips for less, but at the end of the day I sort of suspect that they are all just rebranded Thermax strips.

Side-note, don't get brake fluid on them. If you do, spray with water - don't wipe it off.

 

I'm pleased a Miata place has something suitable to offer! lets hope the lead time does not suggest a price increase.
