First post. Don't bother being kind. Search came up empty. In any case, I am installing a FMII into a 90 chassis with a 99 BP4W. In an effort to improve the fuel line routing I am installing a FM fuel rail . None of the mount locations work for the 90 FPR. I am planning on adding a 90 deg elbow to give me clearance off the top mount. Any of you guys have a more elegant solution?

 

Not sure if this helps much, but this is a 99 head in a 95 chassis with an M-Tuned rail. Not sure which FPR it is. I assume a 95.

 

Here is what I wound up doing.Fits ok, but I am not real happy with any of the fuel line routings once I got it in the bay.

 

Instead of a solid connection from the fitting at the end of the rail. Why not connect a hose from the center fitting to the regulator mounted on the passenger side of the engine bay? Fuel entering the rail at the ends and leaving from the center will give you the best flow and the regulator will not get in the way of the intake manifold.

 

Agreed, I had it in my head that the FPR needed to be on the fuel rail. A little research proved me wrong. I will look at a more elegant solution this winter when it is off the road. Right now I just want to finish the installation so I can enjoy it before storing it. As it is, my fresh turbo will start its life with me on snow tires..............
