Default Throttle Cable Lenths

I'm helping a friend with a BP4W swap into his NA6. He bought what he thought was a new NB throttle cable (P/N on the bag matches what I can find) but it is too long. Almost like its a NA cable. We threw the old on out a few weeks ago (it was damaged). We are using a Flat Top intake, NB throttle body, and with a bracket from a VISC (99-00) manifold.

I was wonder if anyone has a NA and/or NB throttle cable laying around they could measure the lengths on? I have searched multiple forums with no luck.

If it is the NA cable you can just get the $20 bracket from flyin' miata that allows the NA cable to bolt up to the 1.8L intake manifold. That's what I did with my VVT swap into an NA6 and it worked like a charm.

AFAIK NC10-41-660A is the NB cable, which is 49.875" from tip to tip (cable, not housing). The cable housing is 42.25"

I tried to order an NA cable when I put an NA motor back in Rover and it was not available from Mazda.

IIRC we got a "NA" part number, but I'm going to double check it tonight. Thanks for the measurement

I bought an NB cable for my BP4W into an NA6 chassis swap & it fitted perfectly. are you using the NA6 bracket or NB bracket?

NB bracket. I havne't made it out to the garage this week to pull the cable and double check the P/N. We're using a NB bracket (pulled from a BP4W).

Found the packaging. Looks like he was sent a NA cable (NA01-41-660A). Contacting the vendor to see if we can get the correct one swapped out.
