Default Tuned and now certain things don’t work??

Went to a remote tuner for help and was given a decent tune on my car. Running speedyefi on tuner studio but now my ac compressor doesn’t turn on, my windshield wipers don’t turn on, the wiper fluid doesn’t spray, and the secondary fan doesn’t kick on. Any ideas what he disabled on tuner studio and where to go to fix this stuff?

Windshield wipers and wiper fluid aren't controlled by the ECU as far as I know. I would be very surprised if those not working is related to the ECU.

As far as the AC fan and compressor go, were they working after installing the ECU, and not working after the tuning session, or have they not worked since installing the ECU?
Do you know what version of ECU you have? Did you purchase the board from SpeedyEFI, if so, about how long ago?

Posting your tune on here wouldn't be a bad idea.

I had the same thought. What year is your car (if it's a later MY and there is CANbus connectivity to the ECU, then those other function could be affected)?

The more info, the better

Everything was honestly working well before the tune. But i noticed that afterwords these things would not work. And it’s a brand new speedyefi I bought maybe within the last 4 months and barely got around to installing it now and getting set up

If you look at the post here
https://www.miataturbo.net/speeduino...9-00-a-108952/

There are some AC Idle up settings that should get it working roughly. They're for a 99/00 so the pin names/numbers might be wrong for your '90. You'll probably have to do some fine tuning. That menu is in the Accessories->Air Con Control menu in tuner studio.
The newer SpeedyEFI boards (which it sounds like you have) intercept the AC signals from the car, so the ECU can control the signal to the compressor and you can trigger it on/off with a few things like TPS, max/min RPM, coolant temp, etc...

The secondary fan (AC Fan) can be enabled in that menu to come on with the AC Enable signal. Personally, I use a programmable output to enable that fan based on coolant temp, because I'd rather have the fan on regardless of AC status if my car is getting hot. If the fan is enabled in the AC settings, then the programmable output will not work.

I'm pretty sure the wipers and fluid aren't controlled by the ECU. Maybe a fuse blew?

ima definitely check the fuses and see. Everything worked perfectly before the tune so I just assumed hmmm maybe he did something? But I’ll definitely check those forums you sent me. I’ll try to check the fuses soon and see if it’s something so simple like that.

agghhh I feel so dumb. Yes it was a fuse for the windshield wipers. I thought I checked but it was literally the only one I skipped when my 10 amp blew lol. But I’ll have to do some research for the compressor and fan. Am I able to hook up the stock fan with tuner studio correct? I don’t need a aftermarket fan to be able to tell it when it kick on? And what temp should I tell it when I start kicking on at in your opinion? My car normally sits at 209-211 on these hot Texas days

Stock or aftermarket fan will be fine. Sounds like a setting is off. Maybe an output assignment was changed or something.

Personally I turn my fans on really early. I run an 80 C thermostat and kick my main fan on around 84 C and my secondary fan on a couple degrees above that.

Long story short, I see coolant temps spike up to 110 C pretty quickly at autocross, but I'm still unsure if it's an ECU gremlin like a grounding offset, or actual coolant temps. If you don't have issues like that then you probably don't need to worry as much.

I believe the stock ECU kicks the fans on around 92C/195 F, if not a bit higher.
