BEGi Autorotor, need help
Me and my friend are installing BEGi Autorotor on his 1994 1.8L miata. A lot of the stuff has been bolted on already. We trying to follow the manual as much as possible. But now I got some questions, neither of us can answer. I tried searching, but nothing.
In the manual the SC has diagram and chapter on hooking it up with oil supply line from the engine. The Kit he bought has no appropriate hardware. I took of the plug on the SC where oil line suppose to connect to, and its is 1/2-20 thread. I searched up and that is AN -5 fitting. What exactly do I need to use there? I looked inside the SC and it looks like there is no restriction, so if I hook up AN-3 or -4 line to it, engine would have no oil pressure. Should I put in a restrictor in the supply line? The FMU in the manual has a valve, this one does not have any. Any idea on the size of it? or do I even need it? Any idea on the size of the thread, its very small. This is the SC that we have, and same kit. (found reference to the SC while searching, 1.6L version) https://www.miataturbo.net/showthrea...ight=autorotor http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/2923/blowerio6.jpg |
