Eaton M45 99 1.8?

So....
Ive got this M45 off a c230 Benz, that I was considering putting on my 99..
Im pretty sure I can fit it where the stock airbox is now, Or maybe even mod the stock intake manifold, and mount it there.
Has anyone done this already?
Is it big enough for the 1.8?
Im pretty sure the C230 is a 1.8.
Just looking for a little feedback..
Thanks!

Do it right and go turbo with stand alone. Seeing as i'm maybe 1 of 3 people here with a real hot side root/twin screw set up and not some pos powercards moss kit take it from me. It's not worth the time and money compared to doing your home works and going turbo.

Yeah, I second the motion. I've got a weak sauce M45, megasquirt, crank overlay.. blah blah and it's just weak. I want a turbo car again.

OK that's two for turbo!
That was my original hope, and I think I'm headed that way again.
Have not had much luck finding anything good that doesn't sell quick here, but I'll keep looking.
Thanks for the input, it is much appreciated.

No 2 of 3 signing in to concur

Ditto, except more like 10psi and dual throttles rather than the obnoxiously loud setup you have ;)

Lol, sell the Benz screw thing and use that money to save up for a terbo.

Seriously. The ONLY reason to pick an SC over a Turbo is some sort of emissions compliance. If you are looking to adapt something from another car, you are obviously not worried about said compliance.

Another +1 on turbo

Turbo kit on its way!
Thanks for all the input.
Anyone need a sc? :)

depends on what year c230... i have one off the w202 which is a 2.3 and one off of a w203 which is a 1.8. both have been on a shelf in my shop for 3-4 years. they are very durable but the clutches are garbage.
