patsmx5 01-22-2008 07:46 PM

Sweetness!

urgaynknowit 01-22-2008 09:16 PM

i considered supercharging my miata when i got it

but then after surfing all of the miata forums,
i slowly fell in love with the little hair dryer which now sits under my hood

hustler 01-22-2008 09:21 PM

funny. On Sunday a certain supercharger shop once again made a point to tell me how unreliable my car was going to be with the turbo.

Saml01 01-22-2008 09:25 PM

^ yea. I almost went for the FFS kit but then found this forum and the people and realized how awesome it would be to do my own turbo.

fourwhls 01-22-2008 09:48 PM

Yeah...Supercharger section. I hope it lasts.

For some of us the SC just makes more sense. :D

I did go with the FFS (Kinda), MSPNP, and WI. 1st drive was last night. I hope to make it out the dyno within a week or two. New injectors need to be installed before tuning commences.

urgaynknowit 01-22-2008 09:56 PM

the only thing that tempted me to go sc was the whine of a sc lol

but then i thought about it, i can prob get a smige more power out of turbo
and ive always wanted to build a turbo car, to make all the wrx owners around my
neighborhood second guess my car when they hear it

paul 01-22-2008 09:57 PM

i just picked up a JRSC, MP45. it was attached to a 95M I bought

Zabac 01-22-2008 10:03 PM

wow, paul bought something other than a 94...whats this world come to, lol

y8s 01-22-2008 10:11 PM

who was it that wanted the nawss section and nearly got banned for it?

oh and have you guys heard an uber before? it tingles in your ball hairs when that thing spins up..

urgaynknowit 01-22-2008 10:24 PM

cjernigan 01-22-2008 10:30 PM

Uber charger. BEGI used to sell them. It was a kit utilizing a large supercharger.

paul 01-22-2008 10:31 PM

urgaynknowit 01-22-2008 10:37 PM

Superchargers are cool.

Thanks to the powers that be for a SC section!

Helped install a Bell Uber (cold side) on a 10AE - it's pretty and after my buddy worked the kinks out (think belt shreading a few times and consequently killing the other belts in the process) the thing screams. I still like the simplicity and reliability of the turbo not to mention the punch :-)

ajtopal 02-06-2008 09:43 PM

Flyinmiata has an ubercharger kit I hear its pretty good
