Front splitter with TDR Rotrex kit

Has anyone here mounted a front splitter after installing the TDR Rotrex kit? If so, did you use a store bought splitter kit? I also have the TDR engine oil cooler mounted on the passenger side, just behind the bumper. It looks like the 9 lives splitter kit will not work because of our oil coolers (on both sides). I am looking for mounts that I can buy rather than something I have to fabricate.

I have fitted a 4” splitter with mushroom shaped belly pan back to axle centreline on my TDR rotrex’d NB1. I have TDR rotrex cooler on rhs bumper location and engine oil cooler on lhs bumper location, both fed from hole in front of bumper cover and exiting into wheel well.
imo, the tdr kit fits a splitter easier than other options as it uses an over the radiator style intercooler fitment that means less pipes to get in the way of the splitter mounting.
In fact I mounted this splitter when it was nat asp and I didn’t need to change anything on the mounting side when I fitted the rotrex.
It wasn’t an off the shelf option, but mounting it was pretty straight forward.

If you watch some install videos on the 9LR sturdy boi, the splitter mounts install on the inner side of the frame rail, and the TDR heat exchangers are on the outer side of the rail. So no interference there.

As for splitters in general, designs are falling into two camps, last till WW3 or sacrificial, generally assuming they’ll tear away at the bottom. You’ll have to figure out what you’re comfortable with.

if it’s a matter of oil line routing, the TDR just uses barbs, so buying new rubber lines to reroute would be easier than fabricating a whole new splitter.

If you’re worried about catastrophic damage to coolers, I’d just carry a double ended barbs and a few worm clamps to loop any damaged lines and limp my ass home. I learned that the hard, expensive way.
