Default price of used m45?

hey guys, im new to these forums and just picked up my miata a few months ago. it came with a jackson racing m45 kit, however i have a full t3/t4 turbo kit for it that i want to throw in, was just curious as to how much one would be able to re-sell the blower for? it is used and i am unsure of the mileage..but it is on the car now and seems to work perfectly and boost the 6 pounds its supposed to...please feel free to fix this is i did post it in the wrong location, and please keep the negativity to yourselves...thanks wow these smilies are amazing

p,s any opinion on pricing out the kit would be helpful, blower, whole kit. whatever you know feel free to throw in your two cents!

It really, really depends on:
  • how complete it is
  • its original application
  • mileage
  • history
  • accessories
  • clean-ness
  • quality of your pictures and documentation
  • current market saturation

I sold an absolutely new in box complete M45 kit for a 99/00 with AC&PS here in CA with the CARB sticker & powercard for $1500. The only part of the kit that was "used" was the blower in that it had been mounted, started and idled on another car, but the rest of the install components were still in the original bags. It even included the JacksonRacing license plate frame.

This is NOT typical for an M45 kit.

Also: GO MAKE A DAMN INTRO THREAD or we WILL abuse the hell out of you.

+1. OP: This is a good deal, I'd jump on it if I were you.

In fact, I'll do you a solid. I'll let you give me $20 to take it off your hands for $50. You pay shipping a PayPal fees.

Come on dude, at least try.

lol i love how tough guys act on forums...i dont "have reading comprehension fail" in fact your the one that cant even type correctly, i clearly stated that i do not have ANY information on the history of the supercharger, and all i know of it is that its on the car and that it works. whatever the supercharger comes with that i dont need for my turbo kit goes with the blower obviously. All i wanted was a rough estimate on how much i can get for the kit, instead i got some douchebag staying true to his name by in fact being a douchebag. good day to you sir

Jesus christ dude...

AC and/or PS? Management? Pictures?

I offered to help but requested more information. You have no signature and you posted no details about the car. I have to go to your profile to even dig up that you have an 1990 NA. Your intro thread is pretty sparse on information as well. I still don't know any of the above info, and that's what really counts. I can also assume you have a 1.6, but you have not stated that nor have you provided pictures.

You can't expect any of us to be mind readers. If you ask for help, be willing to participate in the conversation. I'm giving you hell because you cannot seem to answer simple questions, then you bump your thread. Check my comment history, I'm probably one of the lesser douchebags around here. You better grow a thicker skin if you expect to survive around here. I'm a supercharger guy on a turbo forum, I know of what I speak in this regard.

The fact is that I'm more than willing to help. Provide the above info and we can give you a better estimate of its value, its that simple.

you told me to make an intro thread so i did, with pictures...its the m45 kit that comes with the power card. has no air conditioning but has powersteering. i dont know what else you want as ive clearly stated multiple times that i have NO information on the history of the supercharger aside from the fact that it is on my 1.6 and it works...

@cliff emailing right now

Check the Track Dog Racing website for the price of a new one and figure half of that.

$800-1200 is about what used ones go for. $1200 having mileage history and 'clean' and $800 for no history or maintenance.

A used supercharger with a ceiling of like 160hp goes for $1200? Seriously?
