Raceland header, worth it?

Raceland header, worth it?
Raceland sells cheap headers for 90 bucks. Considering I'm going the SC route (hopefully this summer), is it worth the cost/hassle?
Racing Beat and FM headers are too expensive for my budget, so it's this or stock. I know they claim about 8-12 HP, but I'm always sceptical of claims anyway. Reading reviews on the web, they sound like a pretty decent item for the price. Any comments?
Oh, and if it matters, this is on a 1994, which will have MSpnp soon.

Careful on the raceland headers, I had one on mine and installed the BRP/SOT MP62, the #2 primary hit the base of the blower and i had to dent the **** out of it to get it to fit. I swapped out to the Jackson racing header, but I wish I would have had the Raceland header rerouted instead. The Jackson piece is pretty close in quality to the Raceland, but the JR header necks down from ~2.5" to ~2" after the 2-1 collector. It's pretty stupid that the header that is supposely intended for a SC car necks down like that. I looked at the Meagan racing header too since it looks identical in pictures to the Gibb supercharger header, but it turned out to have tiny primaries. It would have been undersized even on the 1.6 motor.

Fidgitk, I have a coldside, so no problems there. I have read that the manifold mounting holes have to be opened up a little, but I also read you can get by without doing that, it's just a little more fussy.
I also read - and this seeems to be universal - that the end hits the bell housing. Rattles from stuff like that are unacceptable to me. If it can be tweaked a little to clear, that's good. I think I may give it a shot.

We rocked a china stainless header for a couple years on blue car with some pretty serious abuse and hardly had a problem. When installing the EGR tube wasn't even remotely close to fitting so I had to bend it. Surprise surprise, after a year it broke clean off. Had to pull it and weld the hole shut, but no other failure or damage.

I have the header form raceland on my track car since it was only $90. The only problem I have had with it is that installing it was a royal pain. I had to lift the entire drivers side of the motor out of the mount to get it in there and still took 20 minutes to get it to go down in the perfect spot. Other than that, I have been happy and it has held up well.

ive had same one on my previous miata way back when... its a very decent header. 2.25". kind of hard to install but once you do it once or twice - you can do it in no time. just takes some fiddling to line it up.
mine didnt hit bell housing but was VERY close.

FWIW I just noticed something (Don't ask) their website lists a 1.6L NA header and a 1.8L NB header... nothing listed for the 1.8NA.
The two headers are almost the same sans different EGR and completely different angle / connection point on the outlet.
