Default Jackson racing supercharger 1.8 to 1.6 fitment

Will a JRS from a NB 1.8 fit and work in an NA 1.6. Comes with brackets, throttle body adapter, NB MAF, power card.

Will this kit work with an NA 1.6

Miata.net would be more adequate to answer JRSC questions.

This kit I am hoping to buy won't be available long so I've asked on miata.net also. Two days I've been trying to figure this out. Rang scuzzle motorsports and he says no rang moss UK they say yes LOL.

The charger will work and the brackets will.. Some of the accessories will not though, you could trade or find them used.

Define "work".

I would say it could work, but it would take a lot of...work.

As said, brackets and charger will work. I would get rid of MAF and powercard though, and replace them with a more appropriate standalone ECU.

I'll just copy-paste what I said on Miata.net.

This, you gotta swap out everything that matters anyway. Ecu, injectors, clutch, gotta swap it all when you do the swap. Do a 1.8 swap, upgrade the aforementioned items while you are at it for the SC. Win-win.

All the mechanicals except the dummy throttle body and crossover pipe will work.

Basically, the bracket and the supercharger as well as the belt tensioner. The intake elbow will fit as well. Just about everything else will not.

I don't know about any of the electronic stuff.

I have a 1.6 M45 on my car right now if that’s what you’re looking for. If you really want it, PM me.
