I think you're the only person who realized that a supercharger (like a turbo) is best ran with out pow-pow-POWERCARDZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Way back when, I ran my M45 hard and squeezed 168whp out of it. No easy feat 7 years ago. I was so proud.

Now that you're on par with average turbo setups you need to step it up and really spin that blower. Stock engines are for turds. I remember reading that TDR had a MP62 over 280whp, don't remember the engine management though. I'm sure with a built short block you could squeeze all the power you'll ever need out of the blower.

I thought I read somewhere that you un-throttled your MP62, or am I just making **** up?

The tdr nb is 280hp with a built motor, a greedy piggy back, ported intake and ported blower. The owner thinks there is no way my car is putting down 250 even with a dyno sheet. I could make well over 300 with his motor/blower/intake.

Car is down tuned 10 to 15hp to make it 91oc safe and is getting a 3 psi cut to keep from braking a rob.

What are you making? The MOAB I just bought was dyno'd at 248 whp if I remember correctly. Not planning on leaving it at 19 psi, however.

i could do sexy thing with your car.

but again no one has yet to show me a set up that does not include modding anything past the fmic out tube that makes both good low end go go gadget torque and good hp.

Yeah, but those are Canadian ft/lbs. You have to multiply by 0.82 to get SAE.

(ducks)

That's actually some pretty impressive work for a Rotrex. Torque ramp is sadly characteristic of most centrifugal blower setups, but a very impressive top end.

Yeah torque sucks and I fully agree. I am considering dropping the RPM limit more to spin the blower faster, earlier. If I drop to 7200RPM I should be in the 210-220ft/lbs area and likely break the 300whp mark.

Have you ever considered using a form of active boost control, such as a servo-controlled bypass or variable inlet restrictor? It seems that, within the RPM and compressor efficiency limits of the supercharger, this would give a more favorable torque curve as compared to a static inlet restriction.
