M45 Belt Alignment
I've got a problem I am not sure how to resolve. The belt keeps moving one rib over to the inside on the Supercharger pulley on full boost. I've tried to illustrate in the attached image that the supercharger appears to be too far forward so after the pulley the belt angles outwards. I have tried to move the supercharger as far back as possible in the slot but I am still having the same issue. I do have the crank overlay so I wonder if I can place some washers on the inside of that to bring the belt out? Seems like others would have come across this issue as well but I could not find any other posts around belt alignment.
Any suggestions would be welcomed. John. http://rocketeerperformance.com/cata...0Alignment.png |

Ah thanks. Thought the Random Supercharger section was about superchargers. Will do...

A friend had a similar problem on his M45. Turned out he just had too little belt tension. I find it to be about right when it's a struggle to twist the belt through 90* on the longest span with the thumb and forefinger.

Thanks. I think I have it figured out. I have put a spacer at the bottom mount of the s/c. This along with moving the s/c back seems to have aligned the pulley to where it is not offset.
