Moss powercard pro and timing

Hello everyone,
a few months ago i bought a KenneBell twin screw supercharger kit with water to air IC. It was a full kit, but was missing a connector for the Piggy bag system. I was told, that the fuel and timing computer from the Kennebell system was not reliable, and upgrading to PC Pro with timing (or something else) would be better. So i bought a used system. But most likely it will need to be reconfigured. The setup I will be running is using 550CC injectors and 9 or 10 psi boost. The PC Pro and timing card (including +01 harness) I bought are tuned for 10psi on mp62 with 330cc injectors, I Drive a 2001 MX5 NBFL 1.8 SVT. Could anyone help me on this matter? PC Pros will not control 550cc injectors. Sell it.

Look into a standalone ECU for your goals.

Its the just a 1.8 from +01 with variable valves ;) (nbfl stands for nb face lift) so her you have: NA (untill 98) NB (98-00) NBFL (+01) |

Hey now.. I use the cards in my car.
13 psi w/an MP62, and I have no problems. Stock injectors + a 550cc 5th injector. Setup is easy, adjustment is easier even. 14.5 to 14.9 @ idle, solid 11.5 @ boost. 220-225ish whp measured at the rear wheels, fronts have 0 whp. I'll have the front whp checked someday. |
hmm , so there are possibilities...
I want to run about 9 or 10 PSI to get about 200rwhp. The setup also has a pulley for 12psi, with which i could get about 240rwhp, but i would have to change to much stuff. and since it is a daily drive... maybe a little to much. so maybe in the future... could you maybe give me some more info on the 5th injector stuff? maybe that is my solution to. :bigtu: Also intersted in that dual TB mod. got some info on that to? that should fix the idle problem right? little bit of noob here...:noob::o Oh yes the rwhp i mentioned are form the dyno from the manifacturer... |
01+ with 335cc at 9psi i dynoed 211rwp, it was ~80*f out side. running the power cars and a 10:1 afr, so i was loosing power from being to rich.
