Anyway, this is #1. #2 would be the same but with an AC pulley in there somewhere.

FWIW, you can find a ton of JRSC info on my defunct sebring website mirror:

Awesome, that helps a bunch, thanks.

Thanks. That's a big help. Unfortunately my tensioner looks like nothing like that except for the fact it's single pulley. I was considering buying the track dog tensioner, but they require PS.

You may be able to get away with the track dog one. It should provide the same basic tensioning function and does it matter too much where abouts on the belt it's doing so? It looks like it mounts on the same bolts as my Stage One Tuning bracket did (similar to track dog) so I think it should work out alright. You could always buy it, line it up and return it if it doesn't work.

As for p51, well that's just what happens when people try to show off online.

rmcelwee, That is a nice tensioner! I haven't seen that one before.

Thanks. It is/was custom. I pulled the JRSC off a few years ago and I am not quite sure what happened to that pulley...

If that pulley appears, let me know!

Any way you could fit an autotensioner from a 6 rib kit in there?

You could use some string wrapped around the pulleys you have to find the belt length you need.

I've got your same setup, 91 No PS with A/C. I got the S/C kit from a PS A/C car and ordered a new bracket from MOSS to replace the stock idler.

I've attached the only pic I've got right now.

My experience with MOSS was less than helpful on this install. The belt that works on my setup is not what MOSS said worked. Gates K040500........ 50 5/8 which is the P/S pump belt from a 89-94 taurus sho was the winner.

right now the car is waiting for a new differential in Virginia, but I can take more pics on the 20th if you need them.

Thanks for the help with the pic. I'm going to try bolting it up this weekend, and I think I can make it work with what I've got. The guy at Moss who was the most knowledgeable about these kits unfortunately left the company a few months back.

What bracket are you going to use?

sil80redtop 03-09-2010 03:28 PM

I purchased a non PS, non AC kit, and it came with a single pulley and bracket. It looks like the bracket bolts up where the OE PS bracket would be. I also purchased a few small parts that were part of the AC only kit that weren't listed in my kit.
