New CARB certified supercharger kit from Jackson Racing: Vaporware?

I mean, I'm not waiting around. I'm finally doing a turbo install. But just curious.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this is from 2014 back when JR had a rotrex kit for miatas.

JR has had a "New" CARB certified kit in the works for a long time, always set to be released "soon". After a bunch of pestering, the best I got from them was likely Q1 2017, but I pity anyone who wholeheartedly believes that. I wanted to dabble in supercharging before turbo, so I was considering their CARB kit, but given that they wouldn't actually name a concrete release date, I just said screw it and bought an older Moss MP62 CARB kit to toy with before turboing.

Vaporware? More like Vaporwave.

Man I love vaporwave so much more than vaporware.

I want to see this succeed like you have no idea, I just don't know if I can handle having my heart broken again. :cry:

Playing the chillwave while reading this made it so much more emotional.

So....any updates on this? I'll be moving to CA in a year, and want to keep my modifications legal, but want to take advantage while I still have a garage.
