New JRSC Installation 1.6

Hi All, I guess this is an introduction post as well as a request for some help! I did some searching and didn't find anything relevant to my specific request.

I picked up a complete used JRSC kit with powercard from a running car, I installed it over a long weekend a few weeks ago with really no issues except for having to make a throttle bracket. ANyway, the install went smoothly, the supercharger got new oil and most of the hoses and filter new as well. I attached an image of the final product below. Everything seemed to be running well, I took it out and was able to hit boost comfortably over a few drives then I left for vacation.

I got back from vacation and a few new pars came in, I added the one way valve to replace the restrictor my kit came with in the IACV line. I tightened the serpentine belt a bit as I felt the power steering was not getting full power and it had about .75" of movement between the crank and tension pully. I also installed a high flow magnaflow cat. I checked the sprak plugs and they were a bit on the white side of brown, so I decided to get 1 heat range lower (NGK BKR7E gapped to 0.035"). After these changes, the car is pining. I pulled the BKR7E plugs and they were even whiter that the BKR6E that came out. I'm at a loss as I don't think I've done anyhting that would mess with the AFR. I don't have a wideband or any fuel controller, just the powercard that came with the kit. I verified its working, green flashes on ignition, steady with no other lights on during running condition. The small green LED comes on when I blow into the boost line and so does the yellow light, is this an issue? I reset the timing as well to 6BTDC. Should I pull more timing maybe? Fuel FIlter was changed when I go tthe car in 2019, so maybe thats next on the list, or maybe just crappy california gas.

Any help would be appriciated!

Also, here are the spark plug pictures, ordered 1 to 4, BKR6E on the right, BKR7E on the left. BKR7e has like 2 miles on it.

Were you running some 87 before putting the kit on? Maybe a bit to much left over in the tank if you added some 92? And maybe try some another step colder on the plugs.

And makng the exhaust more free flowing would lean out your afr.

So I went and installed some NB injectors and a DW200 fuel pump and this seems to have worked!

Another question though, while I was doing timing, I noticed that sometimes the light would change pace, like slow down a lot to about 1/2 the flashes. it didn't seem to coincide with RPM change. is this a sign my coil packs might need replaced?
