JRSC boost dropped... timing problem?
when I first got this car it only put out about 4psi. after I upgraded the old style engine management to the newest powercard pro it cured my stalling problem and my boost went up to 5-6psi. however, I think this may have been from jiggling around the crappy wiring job the previous owner did with the JR timing box and now I think it may have shorted out again.
Today I got in my car to drive it around and noticed im back to 3-4psi...
Im thinking its got to be that timing box. anyone confirm that or have any other ideas? does timing effect boost?
thanks

As far as I know, timing doesn't effect boost. You may have a leak in your line.
See the below photo. I found out that my the rubber coupling hose on to my gauge was all cracked and I had major boost leak. My gauge wasn't vacuuming and I was never able to hit over 3PSI.
I replaced it and now it's vacuuming -12 to -15psi and boosting about 4.5-5psi.
Hope that helps.

It should ROCK when I go to the beach in a month or so.
Just an addition. I just had the car dyno'ed (nearest shop is at the base of the mountain). Low and behold I picked up an extra # of boost. The m45 kicked the car up to 172 hp (not bad for the lil blower I thought).
