Rotrex for 1.6

Hi
I'm looking at buying a second hand rotrex for my 1.6. Basically a street car but want a little extra oomph and a C30-94 has come up.

Question is can that be used successfully with the 1.6 or is it to large? I know Kraftwerks do not use this model in their kit..

Also it has done 30 000k's (20 000 miles) is it in need of some sort of a rebuild at that mileage?

Even if a repair seems successful at first the supercharger will likely break down later due to the very tight tolerances of the components.

Strictly speaking, its not "rebuildable" according to the manufacturer.

I bought a used C30-74 Kraftwerks kit, had maybe 5-6K miles on it; I've put almost 30,000 miles on it since installation. As long as the lube is changed at recommended interval, and it's not oversped, it should go a long time. Lube interval is 50,000 miles, along with filter change. The "traction fluid" lubricant is over $100US a quart, takes about 8/10 quart for the system.

Falcons build was pretty cool, but un-impressive for what it was and for how much it cost. I think in the end he was very disappointed (I gathered this from his numerous threads where he wanted to add a turbo to to it to make more torque, and then he put it up for sale). And this was with a fully built engine, worked valvetrain, cams, no expenses spared, etc.

I bet its ultra reliable though.
