progess, spent 30 mins removing the tb from the blower, running vac from the intake to the bypass, putting it on the intake, setting put the throttle cable and all that stuff. started the car right up and it already revs better. and ya it's fucking loud.

Balance them and it'll be good.

You'll have less howl at idle and less howl than the video under throttle opening.

I don't believe he has anything to balance. He swapped positions of the TB with the dummy TB hence the loud whine.

When I was balancing my dual setup I started out with the SC TB on the inlet to the SC cracked open quite a bit. Driving down the road other cars would look and point me out due to the loud whine of the SC. Interestingly, as I would adjust the SC inlet TB to a more closed position I did experience a setting where compressor surge was noticed; usually at part throttle during cruise. Further decreasing the amount the TB was cracked eliminated the surge and I haven't experienced it since. It is however still in the back of my mind hence the desire to install a recirculating anti-surge valve.

LMAO that sounds awesome in a weird way. Its like a mix between a F1 engine and a motorcycle and a small child screaming

running a single tb in the end

the video is extra loud as the intake elbow to the blower and dummy tb where not on, that just open blower.

the dummy body as some waight. going to get a lighter adaptor plate mad of just a flat square with the 4 hoes for bolts and a 2.5" pipe tip.

I have my m45 set up with the tb in the stock location and a bov. Make sure you get the bov adjusted right or else you wont get a good partial throttle. When i had it adjusted wrong i either got 0 inches of vac or 4 psi at partial throttle. Made it annoying to drive.

are you running the bypass like i am or did you do something else?

If by intake you mean the intake manifold when you say intake, then yes my bypass is set up the same way. I'm using a greddy type s knockoff for the BOV since I read that 2 port BOVs worked best.

Superchargers are dumb, lol.

Any progress? I'm curious how an unthrottled mp62 sounds when the car is moving.
