Electronic Boost Solenoid (Controller)
Ok Guys,
So I have a M45 set up on a 96 miata. I am using a Megasquirt, and want to use a 3 port electronic boost solenoid. I am trying to keep my bypass valve closed at launch, via TPS rather then load. I am hoping this will get rid of the lag while using the launch control. I know this will be a fairly easy setup to map out, but I was wondering if anyone has done this and has advise. Pictures would definitely be welcome.

Kind of hard to explain, but I'll try. It almost feels like the by-pass actuator is slow to close at certain RPMs. I bought a new by-pass, and still have the same problem. Its like the the bypass actuator is fluttering for a second before it fully closes. IDK if this is a vacuum problem, or the fact that I run AC. I should probably bypass the bypass actuator (sounds stupid I know), and see if my problem is still there.
I was just thinking for 40$ I could get an EBC, and use TPS to close the actuator a little quicker.

Ok I realize I did a bad job of explaining my goal. Here is a little diagram of what I am thinking. This way I can let the actuator operate like normal for most cases most importantly at idle. Then I can vent the actuator to atmostphere if the TPS is over 80% (or some other value i'll have to play around).

Thanks for all the help. I kept playing around with the car, and it seems like I found the problem. It was a vacuum routing issue. I moved the Bypass actuator's vacuum line from right in front of the throttle body, to be on the intake manifold. This really helped with the fluttering, and the hesitation at certain RPMs.
