04 MSM Lowering options...
 

I Don’t like how my car sits on the oem bilsteins. Rear is raised way too high. Needs to be lowered badly...what are y’all running and what are the best options? -Also did anyone keep the 17” or went with smaller wheels?

Yes, everyone dumps the 17in boat anchors for 15in wheels. Car will be faster and handle better. Goodwin Racing's website has many choices in proper Miata fitment. There are also more and better tire choices in 15.

This is a car forum made up of real people who do real work on their cars in real life and you do not pay them to kiss your ass. They will respond in kind to your decency and humility or they will dismiss you from this place if you act entitled to be here since this is our place. We have a huge repository of information and accumulated knowledge we would be happy to share with you and would love to see you succeed in your quest for a better, faster, stronger, more reliable Miata.

I will not bullshit you. That's not my style. This is the single greatest repository of knowledge for modification of Miatas in the world and we have members here from every corner of the globe except Malaysia. We recently even sent a special envoy from this forum from Istanbul to Madagascar but they weren't quite ready to embrace the Miata turbo lifestyle. We can only do what we can do. Perhaps the installation of clean drinking water wells by members of this forum will allow them to reach a newfound prosperity and understanding of the benefits of the Miata Turbo lifestyle. I went with the MeisterR CRD Zetas and downsized to 16” Rotas. It rides and handles better than stock in every aspect.
