1.8 Clutch on 1.6 Eninge and Flywheel
So Im doing a TD05 16G build on my 91. My question is can i run a 1.8 Clutch on a 1.6 flywheel?
|
no. 1.8 clutch require 1.8 flywheel
|
If that's the case a 1.8 flywheel can bolt to a 1.6 motor/ crank?

Clutches are only interchangeable between engines if the flywheels are swapped as well.
If you want to run a 1.8 clutch on a 1.6 engine, you'll need a 1.8 flywheel. If you want to run a 1.6 clutch on a 1.8 engine, you'll need a 1.6 flywheel. |
It would seem to me that a 1.8 flywheel on a 1.6 would feel even more sluggish due to the extra weight, unless it's a turbo car that needs the extra clutch.

Not if its a lightweight flywheel.
