Plenty of room.

Emilio was right, this combo fits with no metal work. I'm going to roll the rear fenders a little for insurance.

The tires are still slippery, but the amount of grip is already :eek5:

 drool.

That's a clean ass sunburst you got there....oh yea bad ass wheels too, but I thought all of the 9" wide 6ul's required a lot of pulling and rolling.

1.11G at yesterday's autox was the highest peak number I hit.

1.07/1.06 L/R is what I hit the night before in "skidpad" form at a parking lot the night before.

On NB's they don't.

Faeflora 08-25-2008 10:28 AM

Oh sexy! So the 225/50/15s don't fit?

patsmx5 08-25-2008 10:45 AM

Looks nice. I want me some 15x9's... More pics are needed though.

miatamania 08-25-2008 10:49 AM

That bronze is sick.

I can speak definitively, but it would be really close, especially in the rear. Then again, a reasonable ride height might allow them to fit.

y8s 08-25-2008 11:04 AM

bronze 9" wide wheels, how I love thee.

Cutler 08-25-2008 03:08 PM

I really like the look and am contemplating the 9s on my 96....I know I am going to have to roll the fender(no biggie) but I hope I don't have to pull the fender....

m2cupcar 08-25-2008 03:18 PM

huge. We need some front and rear track (as in rubber width to car comparison) shots!

pschmidt 08-25-2008 03:51 PM

I'll take another rear shot soon. All the pics I have tuned out really dark:

Hey Patrick,
I just sent you an email since I can't send PMs here yet :giggle:
Later,

When Emilio comes out with the 15X9 in gunmetal, my 17X7.5 SSR comps are history. I really need new tires but am going to nurse them through the fall hoping the new wheels are available by spring.

Doppelgänger 08-25-2008 06:26 PM

Do WANT!!!!

I know what i'll be saving up for...

sigma_kid 08-26-2008 02:18 AM

That looks sick.. can't wait til i get some 15x8's

jayc72 08-26-2008 10:28 AM

Assuming this is a street driven car, what's the advantage of the 15X9 compared to the 15X8? What's the widest street tire? 225?

They look awesome, makes me re-think my want of the nickle 6UL. Those would look totally bad ass on a black car.

I'm just hedging my bets. If a 245 street tire comes out, I'm covered. Likewise if I want to run a 275 in the future. If not I'm stuck with a little stretch. I do come from a Euro background, afterall. :giggle:

seeing this car in person, I have the say the bronze wheels look absolutely amazing
