16" wheels
I currently have factory 16 inch wheels on my car which has the sport brakes. I have a set of team dynamice 15x7 +40 and a set of RA1's. I don't want to buy a new set of rime and tires for the track at this time. So I am wondering:
A. Will thease wheels fit? B. Will it affect my speedometer or any thing else? I am thinking it will. C. Is there a way of changing the settings in the computer for 15 inch rims? If the wheels won't fit then I will just get some 16 inch rims. What 16 inch rims would you recomend? What offset is recomended? Also is there a difference in the brake lines. At this time the RF line rubs on the tire when at full lock. I have tried almost any thing that I can think of to make it so that it won't rub but to no avail. I know that the moron that I got this car from had no clue what he was doing and may have bought non sport brake lines if there is a difference. They are the goodbrige lines. Very nice lines. I just wish they would not rub. Thank you inadvance for any and all help. I am open to any other sugestions. Have a great day, Jared |

Brain I never thought about the zip-tie idea. I will give it a shot tonight while I am at work.
For some reason I vaugely remember something about beeing able to customize the setting for the wheel size, but I could be wrong. I have been wrong many times in my life. Thank you all for the help. Keep the sugestions comming. Have a great day, Jared |
I'm rocking both 16x7.5" +38 and 16x7" +40 without issue. I zip-tied my brake lines in the front for the same reason.

Brain- Thanks for the size options.
What wheels in the 16in size would y'all sugest? Links would be nice if you can find them. Have a great day, Jared |
Well I zip-tied the lines loosly to the upper controll arm. The noise is gone now.
Brain- What wheels are you running? Since thease will be track tires Can I go with a more agressive offset? Have a great day, Jared |
