Little lost on this one guys. I installed my new clutch last night and now my meter fuse blows as soon as I turn the ignition on. I had a similar problem once before when I had a short in my rear O2 sensor. There are only two things I can think of. First I pinched the wires from my front O2 sensor between the engine and tranny during reassembly. And second there is a sensor on the top of the tranny that I disconnected and it has 2 connectors the only problem is the wiring harness has a brown and a black and the sensor itself has 2 green wires no way to tell them apart. Could these be backwards. Any input appreciated thanks again.

its the connectors on the top of the trans. they are touching ground. sounds like you forgot to plug back up the reverse switch and its touching the bell housing. istant blown fuse.

I'm pretty sure everything is connected I'm just thinking that maybe I installed them backwards cause they have the same connector

there's no way to do this.

should be two white plugs and like a bullet style plug IIRC, been a while.

Impossible to install them backwards, and even if you do it won't cause blown fuses.

Nope they're interchangeable on mine I know for a fact there were 2 sensors wired off the harness that runs down the frame one of them I didn't disconnect electrically I took it out directly from the transmission and the other one that I think is the culprit I disconnected the electrical connectors and they're the same connector on both wires

Yes they are I could post pics but its not even worth it cause I know it for a fact so if all anyone is gonna say is that they aren't don't bother commenting cause its not helping the fact that they are completely interchangeable and there is still a problem

The two white connectors shown here are the 2 I'm asking about they are the same connector.

Those two are one connector technically. In and out. No polarity. Just a switch.

Its the other that the issue. That has power and isv shoring out the fuse.

The other connector. that one i never disconnected it i just backed it out with a 24mm wrench. Could the twisting have been a culprit? and also could it possibly have been the pinching of the O2 sensor harness between engine and trans during reassembly? Because, that is the problem i was having last time my meter fuse was blowing (my O2 wires shorting out)
