Default Exedy Flywheel Fitment issues

This weekend I helped my friend with a NA8. He bought a bunch of stuff, flywheel, ARP flywheel bolts, clutch, throw-out bearing, flywheel bearing, braided clutch line, rear main seal, trans seals, 75-90 fluid, slave/master cylinder and both shifter boots.

Got the trans out in about 30 min pulled the clutch and flywheel replaced the seal and replaced the rear main seal behind the flywheel. Went to bolt the flywheel on and the ARP bolts don't fit? Damn that sucks than went to see if the original bolts fit...... nope.

Took the flywheel out and had to take 1/32 off to fit the original bolts however the ARP bolt still didn't fit however they did fit in the motor. Needless to say I wasn't taking anymore off because I knew the original bolts fit in the flywheel good and snug now.
This made a 7 hour job a 12 hour job I was pissed because it kept me from finishing up my Miata this weekend
Has anyone run in to this?
