alignment thread 426

so i work at a dealership, which means i can use the lifts/machines in the shop. which inclued the alignment machine :fawk:. had a alignment a couple of years ago to apx the icehawk specs, then the car was lowered, LCAs were unbolted a few times and so on, so the alignment was off.

thew it on the rack, rear camber was like 2.5 and front was almost 2. went ahead and zeroed out the toe, rear camber is now like 1.9 and front is about 1.4. i had no idea that little bit would make that much difference. before it would over steer a tad, and now it pushes pretty decent.

i think i will set it up to about 2 deg front and rear and see if that helps. anyone have any other sugestions? car is on tokico blues, tokico springs, fcm 35mm bumps and stock sways front and rear. need to buy the RB front sway too.

I'm currently running 949racing's settings on mine. My car sits exactly at 12" so I fudged just slightly more aggressive than the 12-13" settings. Basically 2.2 in the front with 3.5 camber, 1.8 in the rear with just a touch of toe to offset the power oversteer. Really like it. Much better than the icehawk setting I ran before and likely a little more tire friendly. We'll see on the tire wear with a few more thousand on it. These settings are working great on the street and the track.

I'm running the RB hollow front and stock bar in the rear. Seems really well balanced. My instructor last week's track day really liked how the car's set up.
