I currently am running 225/45/15 rs2's.. does anyone know the wear rating on the rs3 i dont wanna drop 600 dollars on tires only to shred them up in a couple months just daily driving. I also was wondering your thoughts on the tire if you own them.

I love mine. I have one autox on them and 4,000 street miles, mostly highway though. The flames are still evident on the fronts and barely there on the rears so well under 1/16" wear so far. No shredding, no chunking. That said, other than the autox, I'm not lighting them up on the starts. I can stand on it in first after a normal launch and they won't spin. They really stick. I'd guess I'm around 180-190 whp.

They are great tires, pretty quiet on the highway considering the huge blocks. I was concerned that they would only last a couple of months. Not the case unless you drive like an asshat. I would definitely buy again. I have 225's on 6UL's.

Nitto Neo-gen 205's are really wide and look great on 15x8's...and they're cheap.

I've had them on my car for a couple of weeks. Impressions are good. I went from a 195/50 T1-S on a 6.5" wheel to a 225/45 RS3 on an 8" wheel. To say turn in is better on the new setup is an understatement. I won't comment to overall grip or longevity as I haven't run them long enough or driven with sufficient anger to judge. I've driven them once in the rain. They suck when cold and suck slightly less when warmed up. But looking at the tire, it is no surprise that wet grip wasn't at the top of the list.

I'm happy, and they look bad ***.

Yea, I love them on the street but they suck in the twisties and really suck for auto crossing.

I love my NeoGens on the street..and they're plenty good enough to spirited runs in the mtns.

I do want to run an auto-x on them one day just to know what it's like. I've never autoX'ed on street tires, just slicks.
