Save the money and get something other than the godawful Tein Basics you have now.

I say sway bar first. It might be more effective on your current setup.

I have the chassis braces. I felt a difference in stiffness. Only thing is it barely fits under my downpipe.

I am slowly upgrading, I started with KYB's now these, This is my project and DD. I have limited income as a student so new (expensive things) come sparingly..... but thanks for the advice?

Mine is the FM solid and heavy. I wish I had the RB tubular one, its thicker and lighter.

Your car sounds like it would be an oversteery beast. Those rates are not optimal. I'd go with the tubular sway bar and remove the rear bar until you get a stiffer spring up front, or softer one in the rear.

Get the RB bar, but seriously, I'd rather have ANYTHING but Tein Basics.

I'm thinking Racelands could be better than basics with the extra dough saved used for springs...

RB hollow FTW. It'll make a much bigger difference than the braces.

Why the hell Tein includes 6kgf/5kgr springs on Miata shocks is beyond me. A 3/2 to 5/3 ratio front to rear is what 90% of people use. For proper balance with a 6kg front spring the rear should be 4kg. With the 5kg rear the front should be 7-8kg.

I agree If I had the option to choose the rates like you can when you buy them new I would've gone 7k and 4k. Still I will be getting different shocks down the road, FCM. RB hollow bar has been bought thanks guys!!!
