Bilsteins and Lowering springs
Does anyone know if a set of MSM bilsteins will work on a NA with racing beat lowering springs?

An MSM Bilstein will work on any car (NA or NB) provided that it is fitted with NB-style springs and NB-style tophats.
You cannot use NA-style springs or tophats on an NB-style damper, or vise-versa. As an assembled unit, any homogeneous shock-spring-tophat package (NA or NB) will fit into any car (NA or NB). |

Luckily the spring perches on the Bilsteins are removable/interchangeable. I'm pretty sure I have a set of NA (d'oh...NB) (angled) perches sitting around the garage for Bilsteins. |

Huh? The NA perches are flat. It's the NB ones that are cut at an angle.
You are definitely right...NBs are angled. The ones I have are also definitely angled...and won't work in this case. I was hoping I also had some flat ones, but I don't. These can be pretty easily made, but it's easier to just go to collars and 2.5" ID springs. |
I think i just posted the same question.
Does msm mean miata speed 99-05? |

Does msm mean miata speed 99-05? The Billies which came stock on these cars differ in one very significant way from the ones you can buy brand new for $93 for any Miata- they are painted silver. |
