Braided stainless clutch line

Hi,

I've just removed the curly q clutch line and both rubber hoses on my car and replaced the whole lot with a braided line straight from the master to the slave. Total cost $20

It seems to work fine and bled up no problem.

I can't see a down side to this, can anyone else? This is on a RHD car but I presume it would work for LHD cars just requiring a longer hose?

Tons of people here have those. Not a bad mod, and gets rid of quite a bit of the stupid stock line clutter and loops.

Did you notice a difference in feel of the clutch before/after?

Yes, it seems smoother some how. Very pleased with it.

$20 bucks to have 1 line from the master to the slave???

I can't even get lengths of stainless hose for that.... :(

hook-up?

why did mazda put thoose loops in the line anyways? i did steel braided replacement for the rubber line. but i don't understand why all the loops are there.

Allows for variance in slave cylinder mounting points since it mounts to the transmission and not the engine.

We offer an SS braided line as well, and we have pieces for both LHD and RHD cars in stock. They are slightly different.

If you aren't buying and installing the Trackspeed Engineering stainless clutch line the next time you do anything to your clutch/slave/hydraulics, you aren't succeeding at life.

Buy the line and watch the panties drop.

I also have the braided line replacement for the rubber hose in the back of the engine bay, no difference felt in pedal. Pix/Price from people running said setup above (master to slave) in the US?

I don't think anybody really is, except for V8 swaps and right hand drive cars. We have them from master to slave for a RHD car and from the firewall hardline to the slave for US cars. There isn't really any reason to replace the entire line from master to slave on a US car.
