Camber Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms
 

Paco Motorsports has developed Camber Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms and is getting ready to test them. These are the same people that make the adjustable rear upper control arms for Flyin'Miata.

Thats cool. Too bad anyone running man sized tires already have clearance issues on the upper inside.

That depends on wheel back spacing. So I wouldn't say "anyone". ;)

Also depends partially on spring rate.

I'm probably running bigger tires than anyone else here.

the v8 roadsters has adjustable lower... makes camber changes easy.

No, if they're not nearly hitting at full bump stop compression either your bump stops are too long or you're making the car wider than necessary. I dont care what your spring rates are, sure I rub less now that I went to 1000s in the front but still big bump on the outside wheel right as I start to come off braking and turn in will still make the rub. But even properly setup with 15x9 and 225 streets its an issue.

I run man sized tires on man sized wheels with offset UPPER bushings and I don't have anywhere near the rubbing issues you have. I still contend that your tub must have been hit hard at some time in it's past.

It was and I've fixed it to the point where I rub no more than any other average tub. I just somehow create more suspension movement than you.

I don't hit bumps off of braking, before braking, or any other time. ;)

I'm sure I'm running less back spacing than you. My track is wider for sure just due to the wheel and tire width alone. So does that mean it's wider than necessary? How do you define what is necessary? To run the tires I'm running it's necessary. Sure, I could run tires smaller than the rest of my class, but that just seems silly now doesn't it? ;)
