Check your oil return for rubbing
Just found mine was rubbing against the rubber sleeve from the steering wheel. Rerouted and steering effort is less. :loser:
Energy Suspension busings, new tie-rods, 949 end links, oil leak gone, ABS working again = WIN |

I had that same problem. Had to make my 45* AN fitting into a custom 36* fitting.

The only oil return I can think of is the one from the turbo to the pan, but there is no way that can have an affect on steering effort. So thanks for helping point out what was so obvious
- My oil return is wrapped, like this: https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/att...6062009032.jpg - The steering wheel shaft connects to the rack through this ribbed rubber grommet. They can interfere: (not in this exact picture, but it did yesterday) |
Ahhhhhhh ok
