clutch disengagement

kinda have a couple ideas on what is wrong, but just seeing for more suggestions or maybe someone with the same issue. Have had a few clutch issues, currently running a flyin miata, stage one clutch. After installing with a full engine swap i couldn't get the clutch to engage wheels on the ground couldn't get it into any gear, raise the rear end off the ground i could get all gears. no adjusting of the pedal could help, so i replaced all the clutch hydraulics still nothing. buddy of mines shop took it apart found nothing was unusual, put it back together adjusted the clutch again and it drove like normal, but with extremely on off switch pedal movement. well a little less than a year later i stared getting some vary off and on issues with the clutch where itll get stuck in reverse or move in first with clutch pushed in, to sometimes it would just downright refuse gears besides third. Removed the slave to find some fluid inside, replaced the slave and bleed it until i got a nice flow of fluid out of the slave... same issue. i have bleed a 32oz and two 12oz bottles of fluid through using several different ways to bleed it, still nothing. Is it right to assume this slave is bad as well? haven't removed it out of hope im just a couple more pumps from having a working clutch. possible pedal adjustment is what i need? it is on the very end of the threads. when i do pull the slave again on my next chance if it doesn't show signs of having failed the master is my next assumption. again just trying to see what other people think.
