coilover question
Im looking into buying some coilovers and want to stay under 1000. Now I want to be able to slam it if I wanted to at a certain point but i would like something with damper and performance. Im looking at tein ss and megan ez street. Any opinions? I read that megans dont go that low. I wanna stay away from raceland due to the fact that it doesnt have damp control. thanks

just bought megan streets. they didnt go as low as i wanted. im probably 1-1.5 in away from where i want it.
- i bought my miata with some generic brand 17x7 rims with blown suspension, picked up the megan streets and now planning to pick up some 15x8 rims. hopefully it would drop more. gl with your search |
slammed but performance?
Pick one: slammed www.clubroadster.net performance: cheapest would be to get a used set of bilsteins re valved and get some GC/coilovers |
In for flamage, slamming isn't real popular on this forum.
-but- Miata.net has a bunch of reviews that members post, also Flyinmiata sells FM V-Maxx coil overs for $595, which is under 1K, but I don't know how good they are. I think there a little different then the "non FM" V-Maxx coil overs. |
My opinion:
Save you money. |
thanks for posting the link! i think i know what coilovers im getting, more in my price range and they sound pretty good for the price

Get my springs: the longer you drive, the lower the car gets. I still haven't got a clue why but I was shocked to see my holiday pictures. The car was "slamed" without luggage. And now she sits at +13". Nothing changed. Well... New springs are getting in next week.
